What we shoot

A certified pilot, a professional aircraft and commercial liability cover — what these jobs require, and what shows up in the finished imagery. We fly across the Triangle, Eastern and coastal North Carolina, year-round.

Weddings & Celebrations

  • Wedding venue & ceremony aerials: Establishing shots of the venue and grounds, plus arranged aerial portraits of the couple in an open area. We work around your photographer for twenty to forty minutes and produce the shot they cannot get from the ground. Booked as a standalone add-on to whatever coverage you already have.
  • Reunions, ceremonies & group portraits: The overhead group photograph, arranged safely with everyone positioned clear of the aircraft. Family reunions, milestone anniversaries, graduations, team photos and church anniversaries — a single frame that no one in the group has of themselves.
  • Festivals, races & community events: Scale-and-setting imagery for organisers and sponsors. For most events the aerial of a full site is the single most useful asset they own when selling next year’s sponsorships or reporting to a grant funder.

Golf, Sport & Hospitality

  • Golf courses & club marketing: Hole-by-hole flyovers and clubhouse imagery for private clubs, resort courses and municipal facilities. A flyover set gives a course a marketing asset it uses on its own website, in tournament promotion and on tee-time booking platforms — and courses refresh them as the landscape matures.
  • Hotels, wineries & event venues: Property, grounds and approach imagery for hospitality marketing. Venues competing for weddings and corporate bookings have to show setting, and setting is precisely what an aerial shows better than anything else. Coastal and countryside properties benefit most.
  • Sports facilities & tournaments: Complex-wide imagery for athletic facilities, tournament organisers and travel-sport programs — field layouts, parking and spectator areas for wayfinding, plus event-day scale shots for sponsors.

Brand & Institutional Marketing

  • Aerial b-roll for brand video: Short cinematic sequences cut into a company’s existing marketing video — approach, scale, and site context. Supplied as clean, colour-managed clips your editor drops straight into a timeline. This is the highest-value work we do: an agency day rate buys a single asset a brand reuses for years.
  • Campuses, churches & schools: Facility and grounds imagery for capital campaigns, admissions material, annual reports and anniversary publications. Institutions rarely have current aerials, and the ones they do have are usually a decade old.
  • Tourism & destination imagery: Coastal, waterfront and countryside imagery for tourism boards, chambers of commerce, rental operators and destination marketing — the establishing shot that sells a place before a visitor reads a word.

How we work

Straightforward, and priced per job rather than per hour.

  • Tell us the location and the date: we check the airspace before quoting, so you know at the enquiry stage whether the site is flyable and whether an authorization is needed.
  • A written quote: a flat price for the shoot and the deliverables, agreed before the day. No hourly meter.
  • On the day: we work around your photographer, planner or site team. Most shoots need twenty to forty minutes of actual flying.
  • Delivery: edited stills and clips through a secure password-protected link, usually within 24–48 hours. Rush delivery available.
  • You keep the imagery: full usage rights for your own marketing. We ask separately, in writing, before we ever use a frame in ours.

What we will tell you up front

Aviation rules are not negotiable, and a pilot who pretends otherwise is a pilot who will cancel on you late. Ours:

  • Daytime operations. Our commercial aircraft is not equipped for night flight, so we do not fly after dark or into civil twilight. Sunset ceremonies are flown before sunset, or not at all.
  • No flying over crowds. FAA rules restrict flight over people who are not part of the operation. We photograph groups by positioning the shot, not by flying over your guests.
  • Weather is a real constraint. Sustained wind, rain and low visibility ground us. We will tell you early and reschedule rather than fly a shoot that produces unusable footage.
  • Controlled airspace takes lead time. Sites near RDU and other controlled airspace may need an authorization. We check at quote, not on the day.
  • Some venues have their own rules. State parks, certain historic sites and some private venues restrict drone use. We will ask, and we will not fly a site that prohibits it.
