Try Canopy: verify a drone photo yourself

Every MW AIRLIFT™ mission photo is fingerprinted at capture. Check one yourself, right here in your browser.

Two copies of the sample. One is the original. In the other, exactly one pixel was changed. Your browser downloads each copy and calculates its fingerprint.

How it works

Fingerprinted at capture. Every MW AIRLIFT™ mission file gets a SHA-256 fingerprint: a 64-character code calculated from every byte of the file.
Any change is detectable. Change anything, even one pixel, and the fingerprint is completely different.
Re-compression changes it too. A re-saved, re-exported or re-compressed copy gets a new fingerprint, so only the original file matches the record.

Clients such as insurance adjusters, attorneys or auditors can check for themselves that the media hasn't been changed or re-compressed.
